In my work in painting and graphic art, I draw inspiration from the depth and emotional intensity of Romanticism, as well as from the visual language of Symbolism. Romanticism teaches me to see nature and the human condition as expressions of inner landscapes of the soul, while Symbolism offers me the possibility of conveying universal themes through symbols and allegorical elements.
In doing so, I seek to create a visual world that goes far beyond the purely aesthetic. My works are intended to have social relevance and to encourage the viewer to experience ambivalence. Themes such as the environment and our shared world, human fragility, and the search for meaning and hidden significance run throughout my work.
In this way, I aim to create art that is not only capable of captivating the viewer, but also of posing questions about our time and the ways in which we live together.
